What is Private Storage?
Private storage lets you save files to your account so you can access it the next time you use the computer. Without this option, all files on the computer get’s erased when you log off your account. With this option, the file still gets erased from the computer, but is saved to your account.
By default, each user is allotted 500MB of storage space. An additional 1GB is available for $5 a month.
If you enabled this feature and download to your computer more than the amount allotted, you will see a warning to delete files or add more storage.
To enable this feature click the “I agree to the terms of use” button on the lower left hand side of your home screen in your account.
Once enabled you can always click “I want to stop the connection” on the lower left hand side of your home screen in your account.
This feature is not available in all locations. Currently the feature is only available in our Clifton Men’s Location. Files uploaded at these locations will be available there only.
Caution: Please back up your files every so often in case the server goes off line or gets damaged.
